Frequently asked questions

I am an in-network provider with Aetna and United Healthcare. I am considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies, which may offer reimbursement depending on your benefits. If I am out of network for your insurance company I am happy to provide you with a superbill for our sessions. Please verify coverage with your insurance provider prior to booking a session, as levels of coverage may vary.

Sessions will be held virtually using a HIPAA compliant virtual platform. I also offer a limited number of in-person sessions in San Francisco, CA.

Our initial intake appointment will be one hour long. Follow-up appointments will be 50 minutes long.

If you are using insurance benefits, it will depend on your co-pay amount. My rates are $180 for a comprehensive initial assessment, and $150 for each follow-up appointment.

For our initial assessment we will take a deep dive into your eating and lifestyle! This is a time to examine your past and future habits, your medical history, and what you want to get out of our nutrition sessions. For follow up appointments we will revisit your goals, examine your progress and tweak as needed. Remember, I am here to provide you with support until you reach those goals!
